How should I equip my child?
Make sure your child is properly prepared:
Warm clothing, gloves, sunglasses or goggles, sunscreen, tissues…
Helmet, ski boots and skis suited to their size and weight.
You can also slip a small snack into their pocket! (No rucksack)
Can I give my child a snack?
There will be a snack break, so don't forget to slip a small snack into your child's pocket (no rucksack).
What time should I bring my child?
You are welcome to bring your child anytime during day care hours:
Between 9am and 10am,
Between 2pm and 3pm (except during school holidays)
Between 2.30pm and 3.30pm during the February holidays.
Does my child need a ski pass for the lessons ?
Ski passes are free for children under 5, but they might need one from the following levels onward :
Ourson and Flocon : Beginner ski pass
1ère étoile : Discovery ski pass
Feel free to confirm with the instructors during the week, depending on your child’s progress. More information about ski passes can be found on our dedicated page, "How to choose a ski pass".
Should I bring my child early?
Bring your child before the start of the lesson, under the sign corresponding to their level.
2ème and 3ème étoile
Are any snack breaks scheduled?
No snack break is scheduled during the lesson, but it’s a good idea to slip a small snack into your child’s pocket in case the instructor deems it necessary (fatigue, weather…). (No rucksack)
For lessons from 9.15am to 1pm, a snack break is planned at a restaurant. Please provide a little pocket money or a small snack in your child’s pocket.
Does my child need a ski pass?
Yes, your child will need a ski pass (free for children under 5):
2ème Étoile: at least a Discovery ski pass (restricted Las Donnas area),
3ème Étoile: all-area ski pass.

Does my child need a ski pass?
Yes, a ski pass is required depending on your child's level:
Ourson and Flocon: Beginner ski pass
1ère and 2ème Étoile: Discovery ski pass (restricted Las Donnas area)
3ème Étoile and above: all-domain ski pass
Don't hesitate to ask your ski instructor for confirmation of your child's level as the week progresses. More information about ski passes on our "How to choose a ski pass" page.

Can I only take 1 or 2 group lessons?
Yes, we offer full-day lessons on weekends.
During the week, availability depends on your child's level.

I have my étoile de Bronze, should I enrol for the étoile d'Argent or for the étoile d'Or ?
After the étoile de Bronze, the next step is the étoile d'Argent.
In the étoile de Bronze to étoile d'Or lessons, you’ll refine your stance and style, improve your skiing technique, try your first timed runs on mini giant slalom, and perform your first simple jumps.
Snowboard
Do I need a ski pass?
During the first hour of the lesson, you’ll learn to stand up and find your balance. A lift pass is not necessarily required.
However, very quickly (from the second hour), you’ll start using the surface lift, and a beginner ski pass will be needed.
Ask your instructor for more information on ski passes based on your level.
Are any special protective gear required for snowboarding?
Wearing a helmet is highly recommended for snowboard lessons.
For beginners, wrist guards (like those used in rollerblading) and a back protector can also be useful.
Is wearing a helmet mandatory?
Wearing a helmet is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended.
Teens - Adults
Do I need a ski pass?
Yes, a ski pass is required. There are different options depending on your level:
Beginner: Beginner ski pass
Level 1: Discovery ski pass (restricted Las Donnas area)
Level 2 and above: all-domain ski pass
Ask your instructor for more information on ski passes based on your level.
Competition
Are any special gear required?
To participate, you must be equipped with a helmet, a back protector, and skis suited to the discipline (giant slalom or slalom). For special slalom events (Chamois), shin guards, poles with guards, and a helmet with a chin guard are required.
How late can I register for the tests?
Registrations close the day before at 6 pm.
Private Lessons
How much time should I ideally allow for the handiski lessons?
We recommend booking sessions of at least 2 hours to make the most of your lesson.
Is it possible to ski with a mental disability or a sensory impairment?
Yes, of course! Some of our instructors are specially trained. Feel free to get in touch, our instructors will be happy to share their passion with you.
Is the lift pass included in the lesson price?
No, the lift pass is not included in the lesson price and is required to access the ski lifts. Please make sure to purchase it in advance.
You can form a small group, but it’s essential that all participants are at a similar level.
I have several children, can they take a private lesson together?
Yes, if they are at the same level and roughly the same age, so that everyone can benefit from the lesson. The instructor must adapt to the lowest level. Feel free to ask us for advice.
Is wearing an avalanche transceiver mandatory?
Wearing an avalanche transceiver is mandatory, as well as carrying an off-piste ruckpack containing a shovel and probe, for all off-piste outings.
Fun activities
What equipment do I need for Airboard sledding?
Please make sure to bring warm clothing, gloves, a hat, a helmet if you have your own, and sturdy, waterproof hiking or après-ski boots, as you’ll be braking with your feet!
What equipment should I bring for a snowshoe outing?
Please make sure to bring: a pair of snowshoes, poles, several layers of warm clothing, gloves, a hat, sunglasses, waterproof hiking or après-ski boots suitable for snowshoeing, and a small ruckpack (water bottle, etc.). A Discovery ski lift pass for hikers may also be required, depending on the hike.
Is this activity open to everyone?
This activity is suitable for anyone aged 12 and up. Participants should be reasonably fit and comfortable with snow sports.
What equipment should I bring for Snake Gliss?
Please make sure to bring warm clothing, gloves, a hat, a helmet if you have your own, and waterproof hiking or après-ski boots.
What equipment should I bring for Laser Rifle shooting?
We provide the laser rifles.However, if you want to do the activity on snowshoes rather than on foot, you’ll need to bring them.
Can my child take part in the torchlight descent?
Your child can take part in the torchlight descent if they have earned their Flocon. However, the evening is open to everyone, non-skiers are welcome to enjoy the show!
